American Eagle Back-to-School/Fall 2013 Press Preview

Going back to school just got easier. I have been a fan of American Eagle since I worked at one of their stores from sophomore year to halfway through senior year of high school. American Eagle is all about styling. I learned a lot of neat tricks and tips while working there. If there is one thing I will always love about the brand it is their denim.

American Eagle unveiled some really different pieces for this upcoming season. More colored and “fun” button downs and the new AEO active line was unveiled. This line consists of all performance-wear pieces for working out.

I’m excited to try out some of the workout pieces. I do try everyday to dress nicely, but I like lounging around every now and again.

Joe Fresh Fall/Winter 2013

The Canadian-based fast-fashion brand has everyone wanting it to be fall all over again. For the next Fall/Winter season, Joe Mimran has combined Paris and edge to create a stunning, textured collection.

From the show that took place last night, we see chunky sweaters with the Eiffel Tower and “The End.” Joe has a massive following and fans can continue to support him and the brand by sporting the “Joe Joe Joe” tee.

My favorite item has to be the camouflage pants peeking out from under that (gorgeous) trench coat. Joe, I hope you make that trench in multiple colors.

NAUTICA MEN’S BLACK SAIL COLLECTION

Nautica was just the right amount of menswear I needed in a day. I already have my eyes on some pieces that I want to do own and do a couple personal style looks with.

Nautica in past seasons had held a presentation, but I very much enjoyed this runway show. This collection is perfect to take you from late fall and all the way through winter. From puffer jackets to trousers, Nautica has everything you need.

J. Crew Fall/Winter 2013

After working with J. Crew when they relaunched their social medias by participating in “#JCrewSecretSanta” I was so happy to work with them again and view their men’s and women’s collections at a re-see at their SoHo headquarters.

The approaching mens pieces are impeccable. As always, J .Crew is all about being styled (something I need to get better at). Cable knit sweaters, printed sweaters, and cardigans were my favorite pieces (I am eyeing the grey blue-checked and the red cable knit). In addition, the mustache tie clip will be in my accessories kit for next fall!
