Spring Casual

I am loving the weather in New York right now even though we have a bit of cold front. Now that spring is - finally - here I can peel off some layers. My year-round preppy style has a few layers to it, but not as serious as winter.

I have paired a button down and a simple cardigan together. Then, I threw on a pair of my favorite denim (this could be a business casual look depending on your company). Last, comfy-yet-chic sneakers to walk around in all day.

I went to a local consignment shop, INA, with my friend Matt and found something amazing: a Fendi cape. It was there for a steal and I got it. It was actually ironic as we were going to do this outfit shoot after shopping. The cape was the perfect final touch.

Personally not my favorite show, but none the less, Fendi is a fashion staple always presents wonderful pieces.

A little bit brighter than what is coming out of Milan (finally!), Fendi incorporates textures of leather, fur, and velvet. All of which of trends I have been tracking since the Milan menswear shows back at the end of January/beginning of February.
