#MansomeMonday: Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial
An overnight facial will drastic effects, Korres’ Sleeping Facial is a perfect combination of natural wild rose and Vitamin C to help brighten your face and make it one tone. This product is also helpful for hyper pigmentation, more commonly called acne scars (discoloration).
A sweet meets you every time you open the jar and a small amount will go a long way. I find this product very strong and due to my sensitive skin I only use it once per week, but when I wake in the morning I see results.
This product is also great for long distance flights, especially overseas. Make sure to put it on and then sleep. When you arrive to where you are going you will look awake and ready for the day. Whose says you can’t get a facial on a flight?

Summer Sunglasses (with a cause!)
Finally, a few days of nice weather here in New York. The weather keeps shifting back and forth between hot and cold.
Recently, an awesome brand named Waveborn reached out to me and told me about their sunglasses. I quickly wanted to get to know them better and their product. Basically, every time you buy a pair of shades, someone in need of eyeglasses somewhere in the world will get them. They call it “Buy One, Give One.” Kind of awesome, right?

#MansomeMonday: Caolion Blackhead O2 Bubble Pore Pack
This amazing product is the Caolion Blackhead O2 Bubble Pore Pack. The cream reacts with the oxygen in the air to cleanse pores deep down. This product is only found in the Asian markets, but thanks to Peach and Lily, this product, and many others, are available to US customers.
I reached out to the fabulous ladies behind the Peach and Lily and got these awesome tips:
The best thing for the O2 pack is to make sure the face is super clean first. It could also help to apply right after a hot shower once the pores are opened up a bit more with the steam. The most important thing though is to be consistent about using the product and to understand that cleaning pores isn’t a once in a blue moon activity, but should be a regular part of the skincare regimen.
Additionally, the pore minimizing pack is great to use after this as the idea is to 1. clean pores, 2. make them tighter (which helps to keep them cleaner as less opportunity for them to get clogged) and repeat. - Alicia Yoon, Co-Founder
This product is a must try if you want to clean out your pores before hitting the beach.

Summer Plaid
Plaid. Just that word can some times make you apprehensive to a shirt, but with the right styling you will look great! I took this short sleeve button and just threw a simple cardigan on top. Easy! You can’t tell that it is short sleeve at all.

Finals week is quickly approaching as my first year of college comes to an end. In addition, I have started a new job for part of the summer. I am now the PR Assistant at Vince. This job is full-time and demands a lot of my attention, but I promise to make sure my blogging keeps up.
I also have so much in the works. I am going to Miami for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim and I am attending a private preview of the new Met exhibit before the Gala.
Make sure you following me on my various social medias so you can keep up to date!

Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s
The other day I was able to attend a private screening of “Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorfs,” with Arushi and Freddy thanks to Socialyte.
The film is another must-see for those fashion obsessed. This film was certainly unique and informative, but some areas were a tad dragged out. The overall film played out as a very detailed history lesson with examples. The overarching theme, and item referred back to constantly, was the windows.
Surprisingly, this film gave an insight in to how much top employees could make in commission. Though the exact number is no disclosed, it is hinted to be North of $400,000.
In this film, there was no one person the film centered on. You could argue Linda Fargo, but from what I could tell everyone got a little bit of time and you learned some of their stories.
If there is one thing you should take away from this film it is that you should never judge a book by the cover.
Overall, I would give this film a 4/5. Find locations and times here!
